| Our Kettering Conservative MP Wants to ban Balaclavas 30th Jun 2010 19:39:28 |
Our local conservative MP Philip Hollobone has put forward legislation before parliament to ban balaclavas. After two of the coldest and longest winters on record, I ask what on earth he's thinking. The clothes one wears should not be subject to state control. We've had thirteen years of New Labour telling us what we can and can't do, what we can and can't say, I'm suprised there haven't been directives on how many times we should chew our peas before swallowing. We don't want Tory MPs jumping on the bandwagon and banning things left right and centre for some sort of moral crusade. |

An airport that Easyjet don't travel to. Although if you want peace and quiet, consider a visit. |
| Plans for the Anonymity of those Accused of Rape are the only Just Route to Follow 20th May 2010 18:46:59 |
The suggestion from Conservative and Lib Dem MPs that those accused of rape should retain their anonymity is completely overdue and will remove the endemic problem of tabloid accusations causing guilt by trial by media. We must grant those who are accused rape the presumption of innocence we proclaim to grant them and keep them anonymous until they are proven guilty. |

Anyone interested in maths? How well can you approximate pi using the numbers 1-9 only? |
| Privatisation, Privatisation, Privatisation 15th May 2010 16:42:39 |
The most worrying thing about our combined coalition is our education policy. Our parties' opposition to tuition fees and to the privatisation of the school system is highly important and must be pushed as our highest priority. |
| The World Must Stop Listening to Bigots in Silly Hats with Imaginary Friends 14th May 2010 07:56:23 |
Pope Ratzinger, an 83 year old man with an imaginary friend who speaks to him on occasions, has continuted to blather on about homosexuality being the worst thing in the world and an insult to God and blah blah blah. Meanwhile, our Equalities minister is certainly not in favour of gay rights, as her voting record shows. |

Heh. Demotivational :D |
| Mail and Telegraph in Reporting Junk Shock 11th May 2010 20:40:34 |
In what has been described by experts as "elfern safetee gonmad", a man faces a fine, imprisonment and decapitation after moving a fish. In fairness, it's not just the Mail and the Telegraph, it's a couple other "news" organisations doing this. Just another reminder of the terrible state of gutterpress (a term fully applicable to the Telegraph) reporting in the UK. |

In the first of what I will have as short updates on days I'm not properly blogging, Mythbusters disintegrate a car by firing a meter square of metal into it at 650mph. |
